Mentorship and Outreach Program
The outreach and mentorship program is aimed for school girls in their final year of primary education (KCPE Candidates), their parents, teachers and other school girls in lower classes.
We engage the participants in round-table discussion of the socio-economic challenges that these girls face in their quest for education. We encourage the community to come up with positive ways of tackling these socio-economics in order to keep their girls in schools.
The teen girls are also paired with life-long mentors.
The main objective of the program is encourage more girls to enroll for secondary education.
-Starting 2019, we have reached over 2,500 primary school girls across 25 primary schools in Kitale and Kibra (kenya) and Isidingiro (Uganda).
