Following our bi-annual long-term student tracking and monitoring, we have identified 11 girls who are either on the verge of dropping out or have already left school. The primary reason for these dropouts is the inability to afford tuition fees.
Their individual stories are ones of resilience and hope. These girls have overcome incredible challenges to stay in school, and they remain determined to pursue their dreams, if only they are given the chance.
At EMEJA, we are committed to ensuring that every girl, and every child, remains in school and receives the education they deserve.
However, this mission requires financial support. We are currently unable to meet the full tution needs of these 11 girls, in addition to the 6 others we are already sponsoring and helping stay in school.
The cost of tuition is approximately £350 per year per student!
We are reaching out to compassionate individuals like you to join us in this cause. You can help by donating here: by sponsoring a girl for one year, you can help change the trajectory of her life.

Valentine: Form 1. Dropped out of school. Has a huge outstanding tuition fees balance. Ready to re-enrol if given an opprotunity. Has been advised by neighbours to travel to Nairobi and seek a job as a house help. She refuses. Stuck at home and hoping that someday she will resume school.
Everlyne: Form 3. In and out of school. Has a huge outstanding tuition fees balance. Both parents not in the picture.
Faith: Form 3. In and out of school.
Damaris: Form 2. Dropped out. Has a huge outstanding tuition fees balance. Has given up entirely on education and is unwilling to re-enroll.
